Back in July, Wired4Music kicked off their music manifesto that began with the initial brainstorming of ideas from our youth council members.

Since then we have been gathering together for weekly meetings to work on our mission statement and discuss how the manifesto can address the most important issues on the minds of young musical Londoners today.

Representing the rich diversity that makes up London’s talent, council members were asked: What do you celebrate about being young and musical in London? What do you want to challenge?

These meetings were particularly empowering as the campaign gave Wired4music members the opportunity to voice their own opinions on policy-making decisions that greatly influence the creative and musical experiences of young Londoners.

We are very excited to announce that our manifesto will be officially launched at the ‘Would Like to Meet…’ event on 18^th of November at Cecil Sharp House in Camden.

Hosted by Sound Connections, the evening will give members the opportunity to network with other music makers and creative professionals from high-profile industries.

We are delighted to invite Wired4Music members to join us at the event as we continue to push for more strategies to give young music-minded Londoners the chance to realize their full potential.
