What’s ADHD Like?


If you experience ADHD, you might find that you:

Your symptoms may lead to extreme procrastination, trouble meeting deadlines, and impulsive behaviour. In addition, you may feel that friends and family don’t understand what you’re up against.


Fortunately, there are skills and resources from what you can learn to help control your symptoms of ADHD.


There are lots of different types of treatment for ADHD, such as talking treatments and educational support. One of the treatments offered for ADHD is cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), which is also offered as a mental health treatment. CBT is a type of talking therapy which focuses on your thoughts, beliefs and attitudes affect your feelings and behaviour.
