The young people of Wired4Music have been hard at work this month, creating a manifesto for young music-minded Londoners.
Our July council meeting served as our initial brainstorming session. We gathered to discuss the greatest opportunities and challenges in the lives of young Londoners who are passionate about music. Wired4Music members are now gathering weekly to tackle specific aspects of the manifesto’s creation. This week our members have been meeting with designers to discuss what the manifesto should look like. Up next, we will begin brainstorming and planning for a film. Our Wired4Music Assistant, Amelia, has been in the Sound Connections office this week on placement, helping us to push everything forward.
The first version of the manifesto will be launched in the autumn and we’ll be inviting young people from across London to engage and respond as it evolves. Watch this space and sign up to receive updates!
