Artist Name:

Sophie DeMasi

Bio:

I have been working incredibly hard to put my all into my music career and it has been paying off! I was recruited to be a Producer for Sian Anderson’s Nexxt Step initiative sponsored by the Mayor of London, I supported Novelist at his headline show at 100 club and even helped to work on the music for Burberry’s digital christmas campaign! My debut single ‘Don’t Let Her’, produced, written and mixed/mastered myself has garnered 125,000+ streams along with a growing loyal fan base.

Over the past two years, I’ve released eight recordings, three of which I self-recorded, wrote, produced and mix/mastered. I’ve released 3 collaborations with artists such as JME, Finn Foxell and Lorenzo RSV (Nine8 Collective). Before lockdown, I’d done countless live performances at venues and festivals such as Latitude Festival, the 100 club and Pitchfork Paris. Three of my songs have been featured on Spotify editorial playlists including ‘New Music Friday UK’ ‘Our Generation’ and various of the ‘Fresh Finds’ playlists.

Sophie DeMasi is a 20 year old Artist from West London. Growing up in both London and the States, she began singing from an early age and trained classically in violin. At age nine in California, she bought an iPod Nano and started listening to the radio religiously which inspired her to start writing her own songs.

Back in London at 15, she started teaching herself music production. DeMasi then began to record her own songs on her laptop and made the decision to pursue music as a career.

At 16 she won an international young songwriter competition, receiving praise from artists including Imogen Heap and Tom Odell.

To develop her production skills further Sophie left behind her A Levels to study music production . She was recruited to be a Producer for Sian Anderson’s Nexxt Step initiative in Jan 2019 she supported Novelist at the 100 club. She also worked on the music for Burberry’s Digital Christmas Campaign at the end of 2020. Undeterred by Covid 19, Sophie released her debut single ‘Don’t Let Her’ early 2020 written, produced and mixed/mastered herself which has since garnered 100,000+ streams along with a growing loyal fan base. Not confined to one genre, her distinctive voice and unique style is unmistakable.

Artist Name:

André, the Kid

Bio:

I’m a 23 year old singer/songwriter/rapper/producer, born and bred in South East London, with a massive dose of Sierra Leonean flavour on the side. A self-taught musician, I’ve been influenced by a wide range of genres from Hip-Hop/Rap to Indie Rock, Neo-Soul to Afrobeats/Old School African sounds. Over the last 6 years, I have released 6 music projects (Mixtapes & EPs), all of which have their own themes. To give you a flavour, my first project ‘One Small Step for Man’ had an extraterrestrial feel, whereas my debut EP ‘Canvas’ had title tracks each named after different colours, giving the listener the freedom to paint their own picture.

My most recent project ‘Cheeseburger’ was the antithesis to COVID and just about having fun during some dark times.

Artist Name:

Archer Official

Bio:

Loudly is a song that brings to surface the sinful tendencies this generation has towards romance and intimacy, the way a relationship can be served and consumed in one night yet at the time presents as something deeper. whilst the song seemingly seems abide by these tendencies it in fact the key line being “love me loudly” is infact asking for pride in the happenings of the night before and a desire to find some reluctancy in being so quick to dismiss potential.

“As soon as we heard this track (Life Boat Listen On Spotify ) on the Uploader the team have not stopped talking about it; It is so great to find an artist that when you share it, they have the same feelings you do.” -Ellen Ellard BBC Introducing Cambridgeshire – Pick of the Uploader 3 of august 2019.

Archer’s Latest EP is one for all ears as it seems to embrace a new age blend of live and synthetically recorded songs that stand out sonically against anything in pop culture right now.

Artist Name:

Joe Haddock

Bio:

My name is Joe “The Fridge” Haddock (long story) and I am a Popular Music Production & Psychology graduate. I love mixing the evocative with the unpredictable in my music, often featuring atmospheric harmonica lines, exotic clarinet solos and punk guitars. The drum kit is my main instrument and I believe there is no feeling better than smashing the crash cymbal to end a song. My album, “KEEP YOUR DISTANCE” was inspired by the pandemic and driven by the difficult conditions under which I managed to create it, without any access to professional studio equipment. It will be released on all streaming services on July 27th.

Siah the Kid

Bio:

Siah’s done it again. And this time he ‘Ain’t Stopping’.
When it comes to new, fresh sounds of UK RAP. Here’s your champion. Siah has proven he’s an artist to be taken very seriously.
‘Ain’t Stopping’ embodies this notion as “It explores the confidence of an artist backed by his talent,”. Siah has made it very clear with his work ethic and consistency that he has no plans of letting up. The song’s hiphop/rap instrumental has a Brazilian hypnotic flair which compliments Siah as he rides the beat with effortless versatility.
He continues to push himself artistically to ensure he’s giving the best of himself with each release and uses what’s been learnt from the previous body of work to propel himself towards a newer stronger direction with each stroke of the pen.
“I plan on being the best version of myself. I want others to enjoy what that looks like as I continue to perfect my craft for myself but also for those that believe in who I am, and what I do.”
