MIRI Musician

British singer-songwriter MIRI blends heart and grit, distilled through a smooth, melodic pop filter.

MIRI has received airplay on national radio and had songs featured in films, including “Fear Of Water” which screened at the International Women’s Film Festival in LA. MIRI also co-promotes and co-hosts highly acclaimed monthly live music night “Blue Monday” at The Boogaloo in London; collaborating in 2016 with award winning music venue Green Note on a sold out female artist focused event called “Girls To The Front”.

MIRI was introduced to music was during the 90s when, at age 19, a cassette tape with 2 songs was passed on to A&R man John Lloyd at Peer Music Publishing who showed interest in signing her. MIRI has then gone on to work with Estelle, sign to the management that originally looked after Plan B, gaining interest from major labels including Jade who at the time was A&R for Polydor and had signed Ms Dynamite.

MIRI continues to work full time in music, as an artist, promoter and music leader.
