In May this year, a small group of Wired4Music council members were asked by the BBC3 to come to the BBC studios in White City for a consultation. They were there to discuss a potential new programme and to put forward their opinions on the show idea. After being led right to the heart of the studios we were sat in a room full of sofas overlooking the iconic central fountain that features on numerous campaigns and programmes produced by the BBC. The producers wanted opinions and a youth perspective on a programme concerning young people untrained in any musical instrument and unfamiliar with classical music. Our council members did not disappoint. They gave their opinions clearly and convincingly so that the BBC3 team had a lot to think about.
