Are you considering a career in the arts and looking for professional development? As a young person you can access Sound Connections’ training events for FREE!

Throughout the year, Wired4Music’s hosting charity, Sound Connections, offer lots of different Training and Professional Development opportunities for those working within the arts, and for those interested in having a career in the arts. As a young person within our Wired4Music community (ages 16-25 and students), you can access these events and networking sessions for FREE!

These events are a mixture of both in-person events, and online sessions via Zoom, and take place across the year, at varying times of day and days of the week, so check Sound Connections’ upcoming events page regularly for the latest information, or you can subscribe to the Sound Connections newsletter to receive updates to your inbox every fortnight.

Previous events have explored topics including:

  • Promoting inclusive anti-racist spaces in music education
  • Bridging the gap between young people and the creative industries
  • How to evaluate your impact
  • Co-producing with young people
  • Getting your project funded
  • Neurodiversity in the Early Years

To access your free ticket to any event, simply select the ‘Young people aged 16-25, students, and unwaged’ option at the checkout when booking your ticket.
