The classes will be taught in context, so those who attend the sessions will be able to get some background history both into the art form and Kenny’s creative passionate direction on how to create your own Hiphop expressions!!

From his upbringing in Brooklyn, NY, where he was a formative part of the 90’s Golden Era NYC hip hop scene [check out the legendary Lyricist Lounge: Vol. 1] to his international recording and touring career with the likes of Tribe Called Quest, Supernatural, Omar, De La Soul, Rodney P, Burning Spear, Common Sense and KISS FM’s DJ Shortee Blitz, Kenny has been making and performing music the worldwide.

Residing in the UK for over 10 years now, he has used his BA in World History & Literature, MA studies in Community Organising, many years of teaching experience in the NYC public school system combined with his music background to work wonders with some of Great Britian’s most impoverished and disenfranchised communities.

In addition to workshops, projects and master classes across the UK and Europe, Kenny is currently poised to embark on – not only his second one-man show- but also his national tour. He has also recently come to sit on the World Book Day Strategic Advisory Group, book selection panel as well as hosting their monthly Book Club (interviewing top authors from around the world).
