Tuesday’s Line-Up

Speaker – Nathan

“My name is Nathan, I am 21 years old, and currently studying Writing for Performance at university. My favourite musicians are Adele, Meat Loaf and Queen, and I was lucky enough to meet Adam Lambert a few years ago, who was really nice! I was involved in the Generate project in 2018, when I was writing and developing a musical theatre project. I am so grateful for all of the help and support that the organisation gave me, and that we have kept in touch! I cannot wait to be part of their 10th anniversary celebrations!”

Performer – Sacha

“My first ever performance was from a supermarket trolley at age three: it was Blondie’s ‘Maria’. Safe to say it was a life-changing moment because, since then, I have never stopped. As a child I was constantly involved with music. After school, I was accepted to study Popular Music at The RNCM and stayed for a year. It was a huge learning curve where in this time I wrote music for film projects, worked with some incredible musicians and was able to play at some great venues. Now, I am working to release my own music, with debut sounds to be airing soon!”

Speaker – Ben Kelly

“My interest in music began when I developed a passion for singing resulting in me performing in choirs and various school musicals, in addition to receiving a Distinction in Grade 8 Singing. I also began playing the piano, which started from grade level and gradually I prefered to play by ear.

It was not until 2016 that I became interested in producing music digitally. I began making grime beats on Logic Pro X in my bedroom; to this day Logic is my main workstation, on occasion, I also like to use Ableton Live as well depending on various tasks such as sampling.”

Zoka has been able to make significant headway in his 2 year music career whilst balancing it with his university degree. Not only did he successfully tour a collaborative Hip-Hop/poetry album round the nation, he also attracted the attention of BBC Introducing Norfolk, certifying him as one of the most promising Hip-Hop artists in the region. To top it all off, he gained national and international fame from news outlets spanning from Germany to Indonesia for creating a rap album for his Creative Writing dissertation – and getting a First-Class Honours for it!

Having now finished his degree, Zoka has returned to London and hit the ground running, releasing a visually stunning debut music video, No Chains. And with several singles and a new project on the horizon, he shows no signs of slowing down.
