Do you have a dream of working in the arts but haven’t had the opportunity to gain relevant skills and experience in your working career so far? Are you interested in working alongside experienced arts producers and music teams to see what it takes to work in this sector? If yes, then you should consider applying for either our Music or Performing Arts Programme traineeships. The purpose of the year long, part time traineeships (split across discipline) is to co-administrate the Residents Artist programme, assist in producing events and promote and market the artists in conjunction with our Broadcast and Digital teams.
To be considered for these roles, you don’t necessarily need to have relevant professional experience of producing arts/music events but you will need to have a passion for these fields which can include music of all genres, spoken word, street circus, theatre and everything in between. You should also be interested in and committed to actively creating opportunities for young people from all backgrounds and abilities.
This traineeship is designed to allow for invaluable time working within the Roundhouse Creative programme, gaining essential knowledge and professional experience within this field. A personal learning and development plan will support you to develop and enhance your knowledge and skills for your future career. The successful candidate must have a current and acceptable DBS check due to the nature of the role.
