Working closely with the Marketing and Development (M&D) Director you will develop and implement the English Folk Dance and Song Society’s marketing and communications strategy. The Marketing Officer is responsible for all aspects of marketing campaigns (devising and delivery) for EFDSS’ programme of events at Cecil Sharp House and nationally. Key objectives include maximising box office income, keeping abreast of and responding to changing market conditions; increasing profile of EFDSS and Cecil Sharp House; and the ability to be pro-active, positive and creative in your approach.
With the M&D Director you will identify opportunities to develop audiences at Cecil Sharp House and EFDSS members, particularly through use of online communications.
Conditions of Employment
Salary: £23,500
Hours: 35 hours per week, excluding lunch breaks, Monday to Friday.
Flexibility required as evening and weekend working will be necessary. Time off in lieu given.
Holidays: 25 days per annum plus statutory public and bank holidays.
Probation: The post carries a 6 month probationary period.
