LeeFest is a music and arts festival that takes place in Kent each summer. The festival’s rebellious beginning and unique story has been of great interest to the UK press, and has given the event an inimitable atmosphere. LeeFest’s investment in new music has seen it host major names very early in their careers; London Grammar, Bastille, Years & Years and Jack Garratt amongst others. The festival is now rapidly growing in size and stature, and in the past couple of years has been recognised with several industry awards. (www.leefest.org)
Wildfire Adventure Camp is the world’s first Questival: half adventure camp, half music festival for adults only! Built for inquisitive, intrepid adults; by day, Wildfire is a bustling camp full of expeditions, bushcraft, artistry, engineering, and adventure sports. As darkness falls, the forest transforms into a glittering Wildfire of music and festivity. The debut Wildfire received storming reviews from Vice, The Independent, and The Telegraph and was awarded ‘Best New Festival’ at the AIF Awards. (www.campwildfire.co.uk)
You will join a small, young and energetic team of events organisers to assist with the planning and implementation of our festivals and events. Your skills and enthusiasm will be used to help support the growth of the festivals by helping us ‘get organised’. Together we will craft strong and efficient working processes and improve communication and cohesion between our family of festival professionals, ready to take over the world.
Whilst this is primarily an assistant role, you will be involved in high-level project management work, team management, day-to-day admin and many things in-between. You will be involved in every aspect of festival management and will be encouraged to learn and develop your knowledge and skills as you work. You will experience the highs and lows of the entertainment industry, and be rewarded with an unmatched sense of achievement when you attend the festivals you helped create each summer!
Please send a covering letter no longer than 300 words and a CV to lee@leefest.org
