Uniting tomorrow’s underground talent and today’s most influential Black music culture leaders under one roof .

For many artists, traditionally the record deal was the big deal. But with the shift to streams, artists now release their own recordings long before a record label gets on board.

In this seminar, we will explore:

  • So what is it that labels do that can still make a record deal attractive?
  • What other options are now available to artists?
  • And how has that impacted on the artist/label relationship?

Followed by a Q&A after the discussion.
