DJ and Headliners

Edith Escobar @edithescobar_

Self proclaimed wavy lass, East London’s Edith Escobar is solidifying her reputation as a DJ through her eclectic blends of Grime, Garage, and R&B. Beginning as a Pxssy Palace DJ student she has gone on to shut down venues from Lick, Shoreditch House, and finally Pxssy Palace. Taking over Fabric alongside ‘SheSaidSo’ collective and featuring on Balamii Radio Edith Escobar is establishing herself as a force to be reckoned with. Her genre defying style takes inspiration from the UK’s soundclash culture and the early Garage scene fused with R&B. Her musical style can only be defined as a melting pot, so expect plenty of multi-genre fusions and bangers!

Jenem @jenemmusic

Originally from Manchester, Jenem moved to London in September 2019, with one simple aim: Smile at as many people as possible on the tube! Her music is a reflection of this with its themes of positivity, encouragement and nostalgia. Combining mainstream pop, singer-songwriter and rap music as influences, Jenem creates catchy choruses with verses of lyrical wordplay. 2019 saw a number of notable occasions; the release of her EP Skyline, a sold out Manchester release show, and a DIY London headline show just two months after moving to the city. 2020 will see her release a string of singles, perform at HMV, and embark on a UK and Europe tour. Most importantly though, 2020 will hopefully see a record number of commuters smiling on the tube! At Wired4Music Presents the audience can expect to hear both new and old original pop tunes that will hopefully leave them singing along!

Ray Vela has consistently attracted attention over the previous year and a half performing with UK rapper Kojo Funds at XOYO, Stormzy’s JD clothing launch with Singing Soul Sirens and supporting Ghetts at the Royal Albert Hall.
