Poet in the City invite you to attend their upcoming roundtable event at the British Museum on Friday 23rd November 5.30pm to 8.30pm.
Register your attendance for free here.
‘Come with us as we get up close and personal with the acclaimed exhibition I Object: Ian Hislop’s Search for Dissent and allow your seditious mind to wander back in time as we examine representations of power – and rebellion – from the ancient past to the present day.
We will ponder the above questions and more as we gather together at the heart of the British cultural establishment in mutinous collective spirit. The evening will be overseen by a special guest poet, who will produce a new piece of work based upon ideas provoked by our dialogue and then perform it live as the event draws to a close.
We’re incredibly excited about your involvement in this conversation. If you would like to attend, be sure to secure your ticket here or rsvp via email. We expect this event to be popular and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
We hope to see you there!’
