The Guidhall School are offering Participation Bursaries. Find out more from our friends at Guildhall below:

The Participation Bursary provides financial support to those living in low-income households, enabling participation in selected Short Courses by providing a full or half bursary to cover the course costs. More people than ever before could be eligible for one of these Bursaries as we now accept applications from those across London and the surrounding areas – providing they can travel to the School every day for the course, they are welcome to apply!

Available Short Courses include some Music courses, all Production Arts courses, Drama Summer School for 16-17 year olds and Acting in Shakespeare and Contemporary Culture. In 2018-19, 44 Bursaries were awarded for a wide range of courses, and feedback was extremely positive.

Supported Application Scheme

The Supported Application Scheme is a programme of support, offering eligible undergraduate applicants a free application, invitations to workshops and events, and advice and guidance throughout the audition process. For those successful in obtaining a place to study, additional support on scholarship applications and transition to the School will be available. Full guidance on the scheme, including eligibility criteria, application/referral process and relevant deadlines, can be found on our webpages. Any applicant wanting to participate in the Scheme must be referred by a teacher or worker in their theatre group or youth organisation, who can vouch for their eligibility.

For more information on the Participation Bursary please contact the School’s Access and Participation Officer by emailing or calling 0207 382 7184.
