Industry luminary, manager supreme, record producer and vice-chair of the MMF Kwame Kwaten brings his flagship BAME Game panel over to us for #BOX5, along with very special guests Cookie Pryce and Jasmine Dotiwala.
Cookie Pryce was a former recording artist and member of the formidable UK Hip Hop group The Cookie Crew, and now is Senior Label Manager at The Orchard. A Producer, Director, Broadcaster and Columnist with acclaim in the media for breaking new, young, British talent and making fresh, ground breaking edgy TV programming with A List showbiz celebrities, Jasmine Dotiwala has worked as head of MTV News, MTV Base and Channel 4/T4 Music Specials across an illustrious career.
This BAME Game special for Box Talks is for those who are looking at a career in the music or media industries: artists, marketing, management, instrumentalists or people looking for a career in media. BAME guest speakers have worked with a who’s who of BAME Talent: Prince, Jay Z, Mariah Carey, Skepta, Stormzy & Starley, to name but a few. They will be explaining the Music and Entertainment industries as they have experienced themselves: from British BAME perspective, being totally real about the highs, lows and what to watch out for. Kwame, Cookie and Jasmine will also go into detail about the power of networking and how to do it correctly in a way that can yield results for your business.
