Beyond the Music is a three-year program that will help Deaf, disabled and neurodivergent people thrive in the commercial music and live event sectors by connecting them with employment opportunities, and we are looking for people to join our network!

The Beyond the Music Network is a place for people working or seeking to work in the industry to meet, network, share ideas and find support around navigating the industry. The network is free and is open to anyone who works or aspires to work in the music industry, regardless of role, and who identifies as:

– Deaf

– Disabled

– Neurodiverse

– Having a mental health condition

– Or who has a long-term health condition.

Network members will have the opportunity to:

– Meet other people who work or volunteer in the music industry

– Share ideas with others with lived experience and talk about possible solutions to any barriers they face

– Take part in training and skills development opportunities

– Hear talks from music industry leaders.

Additionally, we are currently recruiting people to take part in a 9-week online course in event production. Covering concept to delivery and taking place online each Wednesday, participants will get to grips with what it takes to effectively deliver live events and gain insight into potential career paths in the process.
