Barbican Young Programmers is an opportunity for up to four of IdeasTap members to learn how to programme and review films. This is a chance for you to curate monthly film events, and generally get involved with the Barbican’s film work.
As a Barbican Young Programmer you will:
- Get training in researching, programming, and reviewing
- Help select the films for our monthly events and the new Focus Film Festival for young people
- Write film reviews
- Introduce screenings
- Run Q&A sessions with special guest stars at the events
- Have access to industry professionals
- Meet at least twice a month
The judges are looking for IdeasTap members with a creative mind, and an enthusiasm and dedication to film.
