VACANCY: Freelance Music PR Role @The Albany

We’re looking for an experienced publicist with contacts across the music industry and with trade, London and national music media who can help us tell the story of our exciting new music programme. The suitable person will have knowledge and understanding of the funded music sector, and ideas as to how our work can become part of the story of the booming SE London music scene.  We’re aiming for coverage in arts pages, music industry trade magazines and for feature coverage across a broad range of outlets (national, London and online). We’re relaunching the music programme in Autumn 2018. It will focus on new jazz/experimental, contemporary, electronica, and new song-writing with a particular focus on cross-genre innovation. We’re also taking a developmental approach to working with musicians and bands. The overall focus is to establish the Albany as a home for the work that’s coming out of the thriving SE London scene, particularly jazz and new electronica.

Express your interest by sending some information about your experience and a brief overview of your proposal to: by 9am on 17 July.
