We have an exciting opportunity this summer for groups of young people aged 15 and above to come to the National Theatre to experience a full day of activity.
The activity is completely free and will give young people a chance to try out new skills in a fun and welcoming environment.
No acting or craft experience is necessary
A typical day will run from 10.30am to 3.00pm and will include:
A visit to the backstage areas of the National Theatre where you can take a sneak peak at our ‘factory floor’ where props are made and sets are built and painted.
A chance to make your own props – working with National Theatre prop making team in our purpose built studio.
Work with skilled puppeteers who have appeared in shows such as War Horse and learn how to bring puppets to life in a short hands-on fun workshop.
