Want to know what’s involved in producing an event?

From marketing to creative programming and project management, you’ll find out all you need to know on this project. You’ll get the opportunity to learn from industry experts, plus the chance to interview for roles working on events and Roundhouse projects.

What will I get from taking part?
• Gain knowledge and experience in the many stages of planning and producing an event, including marketing, design, creative programming and project management.
• Have started to build a professional network of producers and festival curators.
• Know how to market yourself as a freelance producer and learn about the business side of being a professional freelancer.
• Get access to interviews for exclusive work placements at high profile festivals and events taking place in summer 2018.

Who will be teaching the project?
Industry Professionals from the Roundhouse, Block9, and Portland Productions.

Do I need any particular skills or experience to take part?
Passion for the arts events industry and commitment to the hard work involved in putting one on. Some experience in events would be beneficial (voluntary is fine – it could be a local event or even at your school/college).

Is there anything I need to bring
Just a pen and paper.
