Congratulations to three young Londoners who are benefitting from winning Adobe Creativity Scholarships, which are helping to support the cost of their university tuition fees. The three students: Conor Paul, Ackeem Durrant and Sebastian Farias, all 18, were participants in East Side’s Adobe Youth Voices (AYV) UK program, which made them eligible for the scholarships and were selected from a large number of applicants in 58 countries around the world. Congratulations to Conor, Ackeem and Sebastian on their amazing achievements.

Wired4Music member Ackeem Durrant (18), had his life turned around by the opportunity to go to university. Ackeem had dismissed his dream of attending higher education, believing he would never be able to raise the funding he needed. He is now delighted to see his dream come true. Ackeem comments: “I’d taken part in the Adobe Youth Voices Programme back in 2013, which Eastside organises, so I was eligible to apply for an Adobe Youth Voices Scholarship to pay for a three year course in 3D Digital Animation and Modelling at Hetfordshire University. It’s an amazing opportunity because I wouldn’t have been able to afford University if I hadn’t won the scholarship.”
