“Wired4Music supports a lot of young entrepreneurs and musicians and have supported me directly. Their support contributes to making our communities a better place. With this RBS funding, they will help bring our ideas to life.”

– Kheron, 21 year-old Wired4Music member from Southwark

We are thrilled to announce that Wired4Music has been awarded a £22,980 grant from The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) as part of the Group’s Inspiring Enterprise initiative.

Over 200 organisations submitted applications for funding to run programmes and 12 winners have been announced across the UK. The grants were submitted online and winners were chosen by a judging panel which included a public vote, which more than 7,000 people took part in.

This funding will allow us to officially roll out their innovative music leadership programme to a group of talented, creative and entrepreneurial young people. The programme will provide tailored support to 20 young music-minded entrepreneurs, helping them to fulfil their potential and bring their innovative business ideas to life. These young leaders will receive tailored support, skills training and resources to support them in developing their own unique projects. Participants will also gain access to a vibrant network of music industry partners to help inform them about the music industry and alert them to potential new musical opportunities.
